Vendor product - HP Project & Portfolio Management, which technology uses as the portfolio (projects, proposals, products) and budgeting system.

We have built extensions to this application in Flex - one of them is called the Resource Module where we tie people to work and estimate their staffing assignments. This application would be one of the areas where the consultant would focus - this module ultimately defines project costs for IT and then drives the budget.

It's used by a lot of people - PMOs, Delivery Managers, and Business Managers - and needs a major UI overhaul.

This is used by all levels of IT management to track and manage resource rosters and open positions.
This application has a very full roadmap of additional enhancements for role tracking and integrations with other applications to make the resource lifecycle more seamless. This is another Flex application that the consultant will design around.
