Firm is looking for Business Analyst / Project Manager which will focus on Functional Architecture of Margin Risk System.   Person must know how to calculate Margin and Risk, Margin Methodology, Reg T and U, Hedges and Arbitrages as it pertains to Margin.   



Main Function

A business analyst position is available in Prime Margin, part of a key strategic initiative across Prime Risk, Prime Margin, and CMCV, which is one of top 10 Initiatives in the Bank.
The strategic platform covers all functions of our Risk and Margin offerings for Prime Services Institutional Clients: Reporting and Client User Interfaces, Workflow and Collateral management, Risk Analytics,  House and Regulatory Margin Calculations, Data validation and Centralization.
The focus of this role will be Requirement gathering, analysis and specifications (BRD and FRD) for enhancements to the current margin offerings or development in our strategic offerings.
Engagement with Business stakeholders and IT development teams from various areas, QA and other SDM staff to ensure that projects scoped and resourced appropriately, coordinate effort between different teams.
Robust project management and planning, ensuring that projects are well defined, agreed, resourced and executed.
Transparent reporting of progress and status, early escalation of issues and decisions requiring stakeholder input.
Main Duties
The Candidate will be providing hands-on Business Analysis and Project Management for the Margin Programs, working closely with the Prime Risk, Prime Margin, and Collateral management IT teams as well as with the Business and various other IT areas.
Person Requirements
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters in Science or Finance from a top tier School
5 years + Solid experience designing and/or building modular, scalable margin, collateral management and risking systems infrastructure
Preferred Qualifications
Strong domain knowledge including regulations around the extension and maintenance of margin.
Ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion
Proven track record of margin/risk related business and  analysis
Excellent communication skills
